Presentation: Tablets containing a combination of three B vitamins: Vitamin B1 (Thiamine), Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), and Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin). The specific strengths of each vitamin may vary depending on the formulation available in Bangladesh.
Indications: Indicated for the treatment and prevention of deficiencies in Vitamin B1, B6, and B12. These vitamins play crucial roles in nerve function, energy production, and the formation of red blood cells. 3 Bion may be used in the management of neuropathies (nerve damage), neuralgia (nerve pain), and other conditions associated with deficiencies of these B vitamins. It can also be used as a general nerve tonic.
Dosage and Administration: The usual adult dose is one to three tablets daily, or as directed by a physician. The tablets should be swallowed whole with water, preferably after meals. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the deficiency and the individual's response. Always follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor.
Side Effects: Generally well-tolerated. In rare cases, allergic reactions may occur. High doses of pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) taken over a prolonged period may lead to sensory neuropathy.
Precautions: Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Pyridoxine may reduce the efficacy of levodopa in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. Exercise caution in patients with a history of allergic reactions to vitamins.
Storage: Store in a cool (below 25°C) and dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
