Ingredients: Each tablet contains Sodium Chloride BP 300 mg.

Indications: Indicated for the treatment of sodium depletion, particularly in conditions such as excessive sweating, vomiting, diarrhea, and adrenal insufficiency (Addison's disease). May also be used in certain cases of metabolic alkalosis.

Dosage & Administration: Dosage depends on the severity of sodium depletion and the individual patient's needs, as determined by a physician. Typical adult dosage may range from 1 to several tablets daily, usually taken with plenty of water. For children, the dosage will be adjusted based on weight and clinical condition. Always follow the physician's instructions.

Side Effects: Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, and abdominal cramps, especially if taken on an empty stomach or in large doses. Excessive sodium intake can lead to hypernatremia (high sodium levels in the blood), which may cause symptoms such as increased thirst, confusion, muscle twitching, and seizures.

Precautions: Contraindicated in patients with hypernatremia, fluid retention, severe congestive heart failure, severe renal impairment, and hypertension where sodium restriction is indicated. Use with caution in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment, edema, and in elderly patients. Monitor serum electrolyte levels, particularly sodium and chloride, especially during prolonged therapy or in patients with underlying medical conditions.
