Alzolam 0.25

Presentation: Each tablet contains 0.25 mg Alprazolam.

Indications: Management of anxiety disorders and the short-term relief of symptoms of anxiety. Also used in the treatment of panic disorder, with or without agoraphobia.

Dosage & Administration: Dosage is individualized. For anxiety disorders, the usual starting dose for adults is 0.25 to 0.5 mg, taken two or three times a day. For panic disorder, the initial dose is typically 0.5 mg three times a day. Dosage may be increased gradually by your doctor. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Side Effects: Very common: Sedation, drowsiness, fatigue. Common: Impaired coordination, memory impairment, dysarthria (slurred speech), dizziness, headache, constipation, dry mouth. Less common: Changes in appetite, irritability, depression, blurred vision. Rare: Seizures, hallucinations.

Precautions: Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, lung disease, glaucoma, or a history of drug or alcohol abuse. May be habit-forming. Avoid abrupt discontinuation. Caution with alcohol and other CNS depressants. May cause drowsiness and impair judgment. Use with caution in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
