Amipride 100typically contains Amisulprideat a strength of 100mg per tablet.Amisulpride is an atypical antipsychotic medication.  

Indications:

Amipride (Amisulpride) is used to treat schizophrenia, a mental illness with symptoms such as hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that are not real) and delusions (false beliefs). It can help to improve thoughts, feelings, and behavior. Amisulpride is also sometimes used to prevent or treat postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) in adults.

Dosage and Administration:

The dosage of Amipride 100mg tablets will be determined by your doctor based on your condition and response to treatment. For schizophrenia, the usual oral dose ranges from 400 mg to 800 mg per day, which may be adjusted up to 1200 mg per day in some cases. Lower doses (50 mg to 300 mg per day) may be used for patients with predominantly negative symptoms. Doses above 400 mg are usually divided into two daily administrations and are preferably taken before meals. For PONV prevention, a single intravenous injection of 5 mg is usually administered at the induction of anesthesia. For PONV treatment, a single intravenous injection of 10 mg is given if nausea or vomiting occurs after surgery.
