Ardance-L 10/5

Presentation: Each tablet contains empagliflozin 10 mg and linagliptin 5 mg.

Indications:Ardance-L is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.  

Dosage and Administration:The recommendeddose is one tablet (empagliflozin 10 mg/linagliptin 5 mg) once daily, taken in the morning, with or without food. The dose may be increased to empagliflozin 25 mg/linagliptin 5 mg once daily based on individual needs and tolerability. Assess renal function before initiating Ardance-L.

Side Effects: Common side effects may include urinary tract infections, genital mycotic infections, and nasopharyngitis. Other possible side effects include increased urination, thirst, and nausea. Hypoglycemia may occur when used in combination with insulin or insulin secretagogues.

Precautions: Ardance-L is contraindicated in patients with severe renal impairment, end-stage renal disease, or dialysis. It should not be used in patients with a history of hypersensitivityreaction to empagliflozin or linagliptin. Assess and correct volume status in patients who may be volume-depleted prior to initiating therapy. Monitor for signs and symptoms of heart failure during treatment.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
