Aritone Z

Presentation: Film-coated tablets. Each tablet contains Zinc Oxide BP equivalent to Zinc 10 mg, Thiamin HCl BP 5 mg, Riboflavin BP 2 mg, Niacin USP 20 mg & Pyridoxine Hydrochloride BP equivalent to Pyridoxine 2 mg.Available in strips. Manufactured by Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in Bangladesh.

Indications: Indicated for the treatment and prevention of B-vitamin and Zinc deficiencies. These nutrients are essential for various bodily functions, including energy release from food, healthy brain and nerve function, red blood cell formation, immunity, wound healing, growth, and development. Zinc is also vital for many biological functions such as immunity enhancement, wound healing, digestion, reproduction, physical growth and mental development.

Dosage and Administration:

  • Adults and children (over 30 kg): 1-2 tablets 2 to 3 times daily after a meal, or as recommended by the physician.
  • Children (10-30 kg): 1 tablet 3 times daily after a meal, or as recommended by the physician.
  • Children (under 10 kg): 1 tablet daily after a meal, or as recommended by the physician.

Side Effects: Generally well-tolerated. However, a few side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach upset may occur. Side effects have been reported with specific vitamins but generally at levels substantially higher than recommended doses.

Precautions:  Contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of this product. In acute renal failure, zinc accumulation may occur, so dosage adjustment may be needed. Concomitant intake of tetracyclines or fluoroquinolones and zinc may decrease the absorption of both drugs; allow at least 3 hours between doses. Co-administration of Niacin and HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors (e.g., lovastatin) may result in myopathy and rhabdomyolysis. Pyridoxine may reduce levodopa's effectiveness by increasing its peripheral metabolism and may decrease serum levels of phenytoin.

Storage: Store in a cool and dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
