Asynta Max Suspension has the following composition per 10 ml:

• Sodium Alginate USP: 500 mg
• Sodium Bicarbonate BP:267 mg 
• Calcium Carbonate BP: 160 mg

This formulation is used for the relief of symptoms associated with gastric reflux, such as:

• Acid regurgitation 
• Heartburn 
• Indigestion 
• Hyperacidity 
• Flatulence associated with gastric reflux 
• Heartburn of pregnancy 
• Epigastric and retrosternal distress where the underlying cause is gastric reflux. 

Dosage and Administration: 

• Adults and childrenover 12 years:10-20 ml after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day. 
• Children under 12 years:Should be given only on medical advice. 

Mechanism of Action:

Asynta Max combines two antacids (Calcium Carbonate and Sodium Bicarbonate) with Sodium Alginate. Upon ingestion, it reacts with stomach acid to form a raft of alginic acid gel. This raft floats on the stomach contents, creating a physical barrier that helps prevent acid reflux into the esophagus. The Calcium Carbonate and Sodium Bicarbonate help to neutralize excess stomach acid, providing relief from indigestion and heartburn.
