🌬️ Azmasol Plus Inhaler

Azmasol Plus is a combination inhaler containing Salbutamol (a bronchodilator) and Budesonide (a corticosteroid). It is designed to provide rapid relief from symptoms while also addressing underlying inflammation.

📋 Indications

• Treatment of Asthma: Specifically for adults aged 18 years and older.

• Prevention: Helps prevent bronchoconstriction (tightening of the airways).

• Exacerbation Risk: Reduces the risk of sudden, severe asthma attacks.

🥄 Dosage & Administration

• As-Needed Use: The standard dose is 2 actuations (sprays) for asthma symptoms.

• Maximum Dose: Do not exceed 6 doses (12 sprays) in any 24-hour period.

• Priming: Before the first use, release 4 sprays into the air (shake well before each).

• Re-priming: If dropped or unused for more than 7 days, release 2 sprays into the air.

⚠️ Safety & Side Effects

• Common Concerns: Headache, tremors, increased heart rate, and throat irritation.

• Infection Risk: Long-term use of corticosteroids can lead to oral thrush (fungal infection in the mouth).

  • Tip: Rinse your mouth with water after use to prevent this.

• Paradoxical Bronchospasm: If your breathing worsens immediately after use, stop and seek emergency help.

• Interactions: Use with caution if taking Beta-blockers, Diuretics, or Digoxin.

🤰 Pregnancy & Lactation

• Pregnancy: Generally considered low risk based on available data for the individual components, but consult your doctor first.

• Lactation: There is limited data; use under medical supervision.

📦 Storage & Handling

• Temperature: Do not store above 30°C. Keep at room temperature for best results.

• Expiry: Use within 6 months after opening the foil pouch.
