Becobion

Presentation: Each box contains 30 film-coated tablets (typically in blister packs). Each tablet contains Thiamine Mononitrate (Vitamin B1) 100 mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 200 mg, and Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) 200 mcg.

Indications: Indicated for the treatment and prevention of Vitamin B1, B6, and B12 deficiencies. Also used as supportive treatment for neuritis and non-inflammatory diseases of the nerves, such as diabetic neuropathy, peripheral neuralgia, lumbago, myalgia, optic neuritis, sciatica, facial neuralgia, intercostal neuralgia, and spinal pain.

Dosage and Administration: The usual adult dose is one to three tablets three times a day, or as directed by a physician. The tablets should be swallowed whole with water.

Side Effects: Generally well-tolerated. Hypersensitive reactions and sensitivity disturbances may rarely occur. High doses of B vitamins may lead to mild and transient side effects. Urine may become bright yellow, which is harmless.

Precautions: Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to thiamine, cobalt, or any other component of the preparation, and in patients on Levodopa therapy. Cyanocobalamin should not be given before a diagnosis of Vitamin B12 deficiency has been fully established due to the risk of masking symptoms of subacute degeneration of the spinal cord.

Storage: Store in a cool (below 30°C) and dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
