Description: Bendopa 100 mg contains Levodopa and Benserazide Hydrochloride. This is a combination medication used to treat Parkinson's disease. Levodopa is converted to dopamine in the brain, replacing the dopamine deficiency associated with Parkinson's. Benserazide is a dopa decarboxylase inhibitor that prevents levodopa from being broken down in the body before it reaches the brain, allowing more levodopa to get to where it's needed and reducing peripheral side effects.
