Presentation: Capsules. Available in strips. Manufactured by Biopharma Limited in Bangladesh.

Ingredients: Each capsule typically contains Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid) 60 mg, Vitamin E (as Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate) 30 mg, Lutein 6 mg, Zinc (as Zinc Oxide) 15 mg, and Copper (as Cupric Oxide) 2 mg.

Indications: Indicated as an antioxidant supplement to provide nutritional support for the eye, particularly in age-related eye diseases. The formulation aims to protect the macula from oxidative or light damage and reduce the risk of conditions like Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and cataracts.

Dosage and Administration: One capsule daily, or as recommended by a physician. In more severe cases, two capsules a day may be required.

Side Effects: Large doses of Vitamin C are reported to cause diarrhea and other gastrointestinal disturbances. Large doses of Vitamin E may cause diarrhea, abdominal pain, fatigue, and weakness.

Precautions: Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Vitamin C should be given with care to patients with hyperoxaluria. In patients taking oral anticoagulants or estrogen, Vitamin E should be given carefullyas it may increase blood clotting time. Consultation with a physician is recommended before use during pregnancy and lactation.

Storage: Store in a cool and dry place, away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
