Calbotol

Presentation: Tablets containing a combination of calcium (usually as calcium carbonate) and Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). The specific strengths of calcium and Vitamin D3 may vary depending on the formulation available in Bangladesh.

Indications: Indicated for the prevention and treatment of calcium and Vitamin D deficiency. It is often used in conditions such as osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones), osteomalacia (softening of the bones), and rickets (a bone disorder in children). Calbotol may also be recommended as a supplement to ensure adequate intake of calcium and Vitamin D, especially in the elderly, individuals with limited sun exposure, or those with dietary restrictions.

Dosage and Administration: The dosage depends on the strength of the tablet and the individual's needs. Typically, adults take one or two tablets daily, or as directed by a physician.
