This is a synthetic, broad-spectrum antifungal shampoo. Unlike some other treatments, it also provides antibacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits by inhibiting the substances that cause swelling and redness on the scalp.

📋 Indications

This shampoo is specifically used to treat:

• Seborrheic Dermatitis: Scaly, itchy patches on the scalp.

• Dandruff: Flaking of the skin.

• Scalp Inflammation: Relief from redness and swelling.

🔬 How It Works

• Antifungal: Kills common fungi and yeasts (like Malassezia furfur) by blocking their ability to absorb essential nutrients.

• Anti-inflammatory: It blocks enzymes (5-lipoxygenase and cyclooxygenase) to reduce pain and swelling, similar to how some oral anti-inflammatory meds work, but specifically for your scalp.

🥄 Dosage & Administration

To ensure the medication works effectively, follow these steps:

1. Wet Hair: Thoroughly wet your hair and scalp.

2. Apply: Use 1 teaspoon (5 ml) for short hair or up to 2 teaspoons (10 ml) for long hair.

3. Lather & Wait: Massage into a lather and leave it on for exactly 3 minutes (using a timer is recommended).

4. Rinse: Wash out completely, avoiding contact with eyes.

5. Schedule: Use twice per week for 4 weeks, ensuring at least 3 days of rest between each application.
