Cecon Sachet

Presentation: Powder for oral solution, typically containing 1000mg of Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) per sachet. Available in various flavors.

Indications: Prevention and treatment of Vitamin C deficiency. May help in wound healing, collagen formation, iron absorption, and supporting the immune system. Also used in conditions with increased Vitamin C requirements such as infections, trauma, and burns.

Dosage and Administration: Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a glass of water (as specified on the packaging, usually around 200ml). Stir well until dissolved and drink immediately. The usual adult dose is one sachet daily, or as directed by a physician. Dosage for children may vary based on age and should be determined by a healthcare professional.

Side Effects: Generally well-tolerated. High doses may occasionally cause gastrointestinal disturbances such as diarrhea, nausea, abdominal cramps, and heartburn.

Precautions: Use with caution in individuals with a history of kidney stones (especially oxalate stones), glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency, and hyperoxaluria. High doses of Vitamin C may interfere with certain laboratory tests (e.g., urine glucose tests). Consult a physician before use if you have any pre-existing medical conditions or are taking other medications.

Storage: Store the sachets in a cool, dry place, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
