Coralcal-DX 

Presentation: Each film-coated tablet contains Calcium Carbonate (from Coral source) equivalent to elemental Calcium and Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol). The specific amounts of elemental Calcium and Vitamin D3 vary by manufacturer; refer to the product packaging available in Bangladesh.

Indications: Treatment and prevention of Calcium and Vitamin D3 deficiency. Used in conditions such as osteoporosis, osteomalacia, and rickets. Also used as a supplement during periods of increased demand like childhood growth, pregnancy, and lactation, and in elderly individuals.

Dosage and Administration: Adults: Usually 1-2 tablets daily, preferably after meals, or as directed by a physician. Swallow whole with water. Dosage for children should be determined by a healthcare professional.

Side Effects: Generally well-tolerated. Possible mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as constipation or stomach upset. High doses may lead to hypercalcemia.

Precautions: Contraindicated in hypercalcemia, hyperparathyroidism, and kidney stones. Use cautiously in patients with renal impairment or heart disease. May interact with certain medications; consult a physician.

Storage: Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
