Presentation: Softgel capsules containing 60 mg of Coenzyme Q10 (Ubidecarenone). Available in strips or blister packs. Manufactured by Renata Limited and possibly others in Bangladesh.

Ingredients: Each softgel capsule contains Coenzyme Q10 (Ubidecarenone) 60 mg.

Indications: Indicated for the treatment of Coenzyme Q10 deficiency and mitochondrial disorders. Also used in congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, high blood pressure (hypertension) in combination with other medications, preventing migraine headaches, Parkinson's disease, improving the immunesystem, male infertility, and muscular dystrophy.

Dosage & Administration: Dosage varies depending on the condition being treated. For Coenzyme Q10 deficiency: 150 mg daily. For mitochondrial disorders: 150-160 mg daily or 2 mg/kg/day. For heart failure in adults: 100 mg per day divided into 2 or 3 doses. For high blood pressure: 120-200 mg per day divided into 2 doses. For preventing migraine headache: 100 mg three times daily. For Parkinson's disease: 300 mg to 2400 mg per day in divided doses. For male infertility: 200-300 mg per day. For muscular dystrophy: 100 mg per day. It is often recommended to divide the total daily dose and take it with food, especially food with high lipid content, to improve absorption and reduce potential side effects. Always follow the physician's instructions.

Side Effects: Generally safe for most adults. Mild side effects may include stomach upset, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Allergic skin rashes can occur in some individuals.

Precautions: Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Coenzyme Q10 or any of the excipients and in patients scheduled for surgery in the next two weeks. Use with caution in patients with diabetes or hypoglycemia as Coenzyme Q10 may lower blood sugar levels. Caution is advised in patients with low blood pressure or those taking blood pressure medications as Coenzyme Q10 may decrease blood pressure. Coenzyme Q10 should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Storage: Keep in a dry place away from light and heat. Keep out of reach of children.
