Deltasone 

Presentation: Each tablet contains Prednisone BP in varying strengths (e.g., 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg). Refer to the product packaging for the specific strength. Available in strips.

Indications: Deltasone is a corticosteroid indicated for the treatment of a wide range of inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, including:

• Allergic disorders (e.g., severe allergic reactions, asthma)
• Rheumatoid arthritis and other rheumatic diseases
• Skin disorders (e.g., psoriasis, eczema)
• Endocrine disorders (e.g., adrenal insufficiency)
• Respiratory diseases (e.g., sarcoidosis)
• Hematologic disorders (e.g., autoimmune hemolytic anemia)
• Gastrointestinal diseases (e.g., ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease)
• Nervous system disorders (e.g., multiple sclerosis exacerbations)
• Eye disorders (e.g., uveitis)
• Kidney disorders (e.g., nephrotic syndrome)
• Certain cancers

Dosage and Administration: Dosage is highly variable and depends on the disease being treated, its severity, and the patient's response. • Liver disease

• Active infections (that are not being treated with appropriate antibiotics)

Inform your doctor if you have any infections or have recently been exposed to chickenpox or measles. Avoid live vaccinations while taking Deltasone. Long-term use in children may affect growth and development. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding should be carefully considered and only if the potential benefits outweigh the risks.
