Egolix 200 

Presentation: Each film-coated tablet contains Elagolix Sodium INN 200 mg. Available in blister packs.

Indications: Management of moderate to severe endometriosis-associated pain in women.

Dosage and Administration: The recommended dosage is 200 mg taken orally once daily. Treatment duration should be as directed by a physician. It may be taken with or without food.

Side Effects: Common side effects may include hot flushes, headache, nausea, fatigue, and amenorrhea. Bone mineral density may decrease during treatment.

Precautions: Contraindicated in women who are pregnant, have known or suspected osteoporosis, severe hepatic impairment, or are using certain strong CYP3A4 inducers. Use with caution in women with risk factors for cardiovascular disease or a history of depression. The safety and efficacy in adolescents have not been established.

Storage: Store in a cool and dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
