Emer 60 Tablet (60 mg): Management of Epilepsy and Bipolar Disorder

Description: Emer 60 mg contains Eslicarbazepine Acetate, an anticonvulsant medication. It works by reducing abnormal electrical activity in the brain, which helps to control seizures. It is also used in the management of bipolar disorder.

Indications:

• Epilepsy: Used alone or with other medications to treat partial-onset seizures in adults and children 4 years of age and older.
• Bipolar Disorder:May be used as a mood stabilizer in the treatment of bipolar disorder. 

Dosage & Administration:

• Dosage must be individualized by a physician.
• Follow the prescribed dosage regimen carefully.
• Emer 60 mg tablets are taken orally. 
• Swallow the tablets whole with water. Do not chew, crush, or split the tablets.
• It can be taken with or without food.
• Your doctor will usually start you on a low dose and gradually increase it to find the dose that works best for you.
