Floren Tablet - (100mg)contains Flibanserinat a strength of 100mg per tablet.It is manufactured by Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Ltd.in Bangladesh.

Indications:

Floren is indicated for the treatment of acquired, generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) in premenopausal women. HSDD is characterized by low sexual desire that causes marked distress or interpersonal4 difficulty and is not due to:

• A co-existing medical or psychiatric condition. 
• Problems within the relationship. 
• The effects of a medication or other drug substance.  

Acquired HSDD refers to HSDD that develops in a patient who previously had no problems with sexual desire. Generalized HSDD refers to HSDD that occurs regardless of the type of stimulation, situation, or partner.  

Dosage and Administration:

The recommended dosage of Floren is 100 mg taken orally once daily at bedtime. Floren is dosed at bedtime because administration during waking hours increases the risks of hypotension, syncope, accidental injury, and central nervous system (CNS) depression (such as somnolence and sedation).8 If a dose is missed at bedtime, the next dose should be taken at bedtime on the next day. Do not double the next dose. It is not indicated for use in pediatric or geriatric patients.

Side Effects:

The most common side effects of Floren are:

• Dizziness
• Somnolence (drowsiness) 
• Nausea 
• Fatigue 
• Insomnia (difficulty sleeping)
• Dry mouth  

Precautions:

Floren is contraindicated:

• With the use of alcohol.
• With concomitant use of moderate or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors.
• In patients with hepatic impairment.

Patients should avoid activities requiring full alertness (e.g., operating machinery or driving) until at least 6 hours after each dose and until they know how Florenaffects them.It can cause hypotension and syncope. Breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment with Floren.
