GABA-P 25

Presentation: Each capsule contains 25 mg Pregabalin.

Note: In Bangladesh, GABA-P is also available with Pregabalin as the active ingredient, but common strengths start from 50 mg or 75 mg. A 25 mg strength exists but might be less common. Please verify the exact formulation and strength available in your location. The information below is based on the properties of Pregabalin.

Indications:Treatment of neuropathic pain (nerve damage pain), fibromyalgia, partial seizures in adults, and generalized anxiety disorder (in some regions). 

Dosage & Administration: Dosage varies by condition. The typical starting dose for neuropathic pain is usually higher than 25 mg (e.g., 75 mg twice daily). For partial seizures, the starting dose is also typically higher. Follow your doctor's instructions precisely. Can be taken with or without food.

Side Effects:Common: Dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, blurred vision, weight gain, difficulty concentrating, swelling of extremities. Less common: Euphoric mood, confusion, irritability, increased appetite, constipation, vomiting. Rare: Allergic reactions, muscle weakness, decreased platelet count.

Precautions: Inform your doctor of any heart, liver, or kidney problems, diabetes, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Use caution with alcohol and other CNS depressants. May cause dizziness and drowsiness. Monitor for changes in mood or behavior. Gradual withdrawal is recommended to avoid withdrawal symptoms.

Storage:Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
