Presentation: Each capsule contains Pregabalin BP 75 mg. 

Indications: GABA-P is indicated for the management of:

• Neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN).  
• Postherpetic neuralgia(PHN).  
• Fibromyalgia.  
• Neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injury.
• Asadjunctive therapy for the treatment of partial-onset seizures in patients 1 month of age and older.  
• Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD).

Dosage and Administration: The dosage is individualized by your doctor. However, some general recommendations:

• The starting dose for neuropathic pain is typically 75 mg twice daily or 50 mg three times daily (150 mg/day).
• The dose may be increased based on individual response and tolerability to a maximum of 300 to 600 mg per day, usually divided into two or three doses.  
• For fibromyalgia, the starting dose is 75 mg twice daily (150 mg/day), which may be increased to 150 mg twice daily (300 mg/day) within one week. The recommended dose is 300 to 450 mg/day.  
• For partial-onset seizures, the starting dose should not exceed 150 mg/day (75 mg twice daily or 50 mg three times daily). The dose may be increased to a maximum of 600 mg/day.
• GABA-P capsules can be taken with or without food. Swallow the capsule whole with water. 

Side Effects: The most common side effects include:

• Dizziness  
• Sleepiness (somnolence)  
• Dry mouth  
• Swelling (edema)  
• Blurred vision  
• Weight gain  
• Difficulty with concentration/attention  

Less common side effects may include increased appetite, euphoria, confusion, irritability, ataxia (impaired coordination), tremor, dysarthria (slurred speech), amnesia, memory impairment, and others.

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with kidney disease; dose adjustment may be needed.
• GABA-P may cause drowsiness and dizziness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.  
• Inform your doctor if you experience any vision changes.
• Be aware of potential mood changes, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behavior.
• Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor, as withdrawal symptoms may occur. 
• Avoid alcohol, as it may increase drowsiness and dizziness.  
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding.

Contraindications: GABA-P is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pregabalin or any other components of the product.

Drug Interactions: GABA-P may interact with other central nervous system depressants, including opioids and benzodiazepines. Inform your doctor about all medications you are taking.

Storage:Store in a cool and dry place (below 30°C), protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
