Presentation: Each capsule contains 100 mg Gabapentin..

Indications: Treatment of neuropathic pain (nerve damage pain) and as add-on therapy for certain types of seizures (partial seizures) in adults and children 3 years and older.

Dosage & Administration: Dosage varies by condition and age. For neuropathic pain in adults, the usual starting dose is 300 mg once daily on Day 1, 300 mg twice daily on Day 2, and 300 mg three times daily on Day 3. The dose can then be adjusted by your doctor up to a maximum of 3600 mg per day in divided doses. For seizures in adults and children over 12 years, the starting dose is typically 300 mg three times a day. For children aged 3 to 12 years, the starting dose is usually 10-15 mg/kg/day in divided doses. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully. Can be taken with or without food.

Side Effects: Very common: Drowsiness, dizziness, ataxia (lack of coordination). Common: Fatigue, blurred vision, diplopia (double vision), nausea, vomiting, peripheral edema (swelling of arms and legs), weight gain, dry mouth. Less common: Anxiety, nervousness, confusion, amnesia.

Precautions: Inform your doctor if you have kidney problems or are on hemodialysis. May cause drowsiness and dizziness; use caution while driving or operating machinery. Avoid abrupt discontinuation. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
