Gabarol CR 165 Tablet contains 165 mg of Pregabalin in a controlled-release formulation.

Indications: Gabarol CR is indicated for the management of:

• Neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN).
• Postherpetic neuralgia(PHN).  
• Fibromyalgia.
• Neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injury.
• As adjunctive therapy for the treatment of partial-onset seizures in patients 1 month of age and older. 

Dosage and Administration: The dosage is individualized by your doctor. However, some general recommendations:

• The starting dose for neuropathic pain is typically 165 mg once daily.
• The dose may be increased to 330 mg once daily within one week based on individual response and tolerability.
• Gabarol CR tablet should be administered after an evening meal and swallowed whole; it should not be split, crushed, or chewed.

Side Effects: The most common side effects include:

• Dizziness
• Sleepiness (somnolence)
• Dry mouth
• Swelling (edema)
• Blurred vision
• Weight gain
• Difficulty with concentration/attention

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with kidney disease; dose adjustment may be needed.
• Gabarol CR may cause drowsiness and dizziness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
• Inform your doctor if you experience any vision changes.
• Be aware of potential mood changes, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behavior.
• Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor. 
• Avoid alcohol, as it may increase drowsiness.
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Contraindications: Gabarol CR is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pregabalin or any other components of the product.
