Gestavital 

Presentation: Film-coated tablets containing a combination of vitamins and minerals specifically formulated for use during pregnancy and lactation. Indications: Gestavital is indicated as a daily multivitamin and multimineral supplement for pregnant and breastfeeding women to:

• Meet the increased nutritional demands of both the mother and the developing baby.
• Help prevent nutritional deficiencies that can occur during pregnancy and lactation.
• Support the healthy growth and development of the fetus and infant, particularly the brain, spinal cord, and bones.
• Reduce the risk of neural tube defects (with adequate folic acid intake).
• Contribute to the mother's overall health and well-being during this crucial period.

Dosage and Administration: The usual dosage is one tablet daily, preferably with food to enhance absorption and reduce the possibility of stomach upset, or as directed by a physician. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. It is often recommended to start taking prenatal vitamins like Gestavital even before conception, if possible.

Side Effects: Generally well-tolerated. Some women may experience mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as:
