Ingredients: Typically contains Calcium (as Red Algae Calcium), Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol), and Vitamin K2 (Menaquinone-7). Strengths may vary; common formulations include Calcium 500mg, Vitamin D3 1000 IU, and Vitamin K2 45 mcg. Some formulations may also contain Magnesium and Zinc.

Indications: Indicated for the treatment and prevention of deficiencies of Calcium, Vitamin D3, and Vitamin K2. Used in conditions such as osteoporosis, osteomalacia, rickets, tetany, and hypoparathyroidism. May also be used to support bone and teeth development in children and during pregnancy and lactation. Additionally, Vitamin K2 may provide cardiovascular benefits by preventing arterial calcification.

Dosage & Administration: Orally, 1 tablet 1-2 times daily after a meal or as advised by a physician.

Side Effects: Generally well-tolerated at the recommended dose. Occasionally, constipation or stomach upset may occur. Allergic reactions are possible in sensitive individuals.

Precautions: Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, hypercalcaemia, hyperparathyroidism, bone metastases, severe renal insufficiency, severe hypercalciuria, and renal calculi. Caution should be exercised in patients undergoing dialysis or with a history of kidney stones. Vitamin K2 may interact with Warfarin; monitor closely if used concomitantly. Calcium absorption may be reduced by certain foods (spinach, cereals, milk) and may reduce the absorption of tetracycline and fluoride preparations (allow 3 hours between doses).
