Lograin 200 Tablet

Each Lograin 200 tablet contains 200 mg of Tolfenamic Acid.  

Presentation:Each tablet contains 200 mg of Tolfenamic Acid.Lograin 200 is typically available in strips of [mention typical strip size, e.g., 10 tablets].

Indications:Lograin (Tolfenamic Acid) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the relief of mild to moderate pain and inflammation in conditions such as:  

• Migraine attacks 
• Dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain)
• Post-operative pain 
• Dental pain
• Musculoskeletal pain  

Dosage and Administration:

• Migraine: The usual dose for acute migraine attacks is 200 mg at the first sign of an attack, followed by another 200 mg if needed after 1-2 hours. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 400 mg.
• Dysmenorrhea and other pain conditions: The usual dose is 200 mg three times daily, as needed.
• Lograin 200 tablets should be swallowed whole with water and can be taken with or without food. However, taking it with food may help reduce gastrointestinal side effects.

Side Effects: Common side effects may include:

• Gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, epigastric pain, and dyspepsia. 
• Headache 
• Tremor
• Fatigue
• Skin rash (erythema)  

Less common but potentially serious side effects can occur. Discontinue use and seek immediate medical attention if you experience:

• Severe allergic reactions
• Chest pain
• Shortness of breath
• Black or tarry stools
• Vomiting blood
• Swelling of the face, lips, or tongue

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have a history of peptic ulcer, bleeding in the gut, or severe heart, kidney, or liver failure, as Lograin is generally contraindicated in these conditions.
• Use with caution in patients with asthma, hypertension, or other cardiovascular conditions.
• Avoid using with other NSAIDs.
• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with the treatment goals.
• Use in pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, is generally not recommended unless considered essential by your doctor.It is also not recommended during lactation.
• Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking.

Storage:Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light.Keep out of reach of children.
