Indications:

Loxetine is indicated for the treatment of the following conditions in adults:

• Major Depressive Disorder (MDD): A common and serious mood disorder that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act.
• Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD): A condition characterized by persistent and excessive worry about various events or activities.
• Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathic Pain (DPNP): Nerve damage caused by diabetes that can result in pain, tingling, numbness, or weakness in the hands and feet.
• Fibromyalgia:A chronic condition characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by fatigue, sleep, memory and mood issues.  
• Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain: Persistent pain affecting muscles, bones, and joints.

Pharmacology:

Duloxetine is a potent inhibitor of the neuronal reuptake of serotonin (5-HT) and norepinephrine (NE). It has minimal affinity for dopaminergic and histaminergic receptors. By inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine, duloxetine increases the concentration of these neurotransmitters in the synaptic cleft, leading to enhanced neurotransmission and its therapeutic effects in depression, anxiety, and pain.

Dosage and Administration:
