Lyrinex CR 82.5

Presentation: Each extended-release tablet contains Pregabalin 82.5 mg. 

Indications: Lyrinex CR is indicated for the management of neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy and postherpetic neuralgia. It is also used as adjunctive therapy for partial-onset seizures in adults and for the management of fibromyalgia.

Dosage and Administration: Administer orally once daily, preferably after an evening meal. Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush, chew, or split it. The usual starting dose is 165 mg once daily. Based on individual response and tolerability, the dose may be adjusted by the physician, with a maximum recommended daily dose of 330 mg. Dosage adjustments may be necessary in patients with renal impairment. Follow your physician's instructions carefully.

Side Effects: Common side effects may include dizziness, somnolence (drowsiness), headache, fatigue, blurred vision, dry mouth, nausea, and weight gain. Less common side effects can include impaired coordination, memory disturbance, tremor, and peripheral edema.

Precautions: Inform your physician if you have kidney problems, heart failure, or a history of angioedema. Use caution with alcohol and other central nervous system depressants. May cause dizziness and drowsiness; advise caution while driving or operating machinery. Inform your physician if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Gradual withdrawal of the medication is recommended to minimize potential withdrawal symptoms.

Storage: Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
