Microgest 200 

Presentation:Microgest 200 Capsule, available in Bangladesh, contains Progesterone (micronized) 200 mg.It is usually presented as a soft gelatin capsule for oral or vaginal administration. The color and shape of the capsule may vary depending on the manufacturer (e.g., white or off-white, oval). It is typically available in blister packs.

Indications: Microgest is indicated for various conditions related to progesterone deficiency in women, including:

• Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT):In postmenopausal women with an intact uterus, it is used in combination with estrogen to prevent endometrial hyperplasia (thickening of the uterine lining).  
• Female Infertility: To support the luteal phase in assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures.
• Threatened and Recurrent Miscarriage:May be used to support early pregnancy in some cases.  
• Secondary Amenorrhea:To restore menstrual periods in women who have stopped menstruating due to a lack of progesterone.  
• Luteal Phase Insufficiency:To support the second half of the menstrual cycle when the body doesn't produce enough progesterone.  

Dosage and Administration: The dosage and route of administration (oral or vaginal) depend on the specific indication and the doctor's instructions.

• Oral Use: Usually taken once or twice daily with food. The timing of the dose may vary depending on the condition being treated.

• Diabetes.

Use in pregnancy should be under the guidance of a doctor. Microgest is generally not recommended during breastfeeding.
