Indications

Minolac (Ketorolac Tromethamine) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for:

  • Ophthalmic Solution (Eye Drops): Relieving pain, inflammation, and light sensitivity after ocular surgery. It may also decrease eye inflammation or redness caused by seasonal allergies.

Pharmacology

Ketorolac Tromethamine is a potent analgesic that acts by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzyme system , thereby inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis . This results in a strong analgesic (pain-relieving) effect with minimal anti-inflammatory action at analgesic doses.
