Miraba 10 Tablet

Presentation: Each film-coated tablet contains Mirogabalin Besilate INN equivalent to Mirogabalin 10 mg. 

Indications: Miraba is indicated for the treatment of:

• Peripheral neuropathic pain (PNP)
• Diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain (DPNP)
• Postherpetic neuralgia (PHN)

Dosage and Administration: The initial dose for adults is 5 mg of Mirogabalin twice daily. The dose is gradually increased by 5 mg at intervals of at least one week to 10 mg or 15 mg twice daily, depending on age and symptoms. The dosage may be adjusted between 10 mg and 15 mg twice daily based on the physician's recommendation. It is administered orally and can be taken with or without food.

Side Effects: The most commonly reported adverse reactions include somnolence, dizziness, edema, and weight gain. Rare side effects may include lightheadedness, loss of consciousness, general malaise, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and jaundice.

Precautions: Mirogabalin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Mirogabalin or any of its components. It may cause dizziness, somnolence, or loss of consciousness, so avoid operating dangerous machinery or driving. It may also cause blurred or double vision. Caution should be used in patients with renal impairment, and dose adjustments are recommended based on the degree of renal dysfunction. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Miraba as it can worsen the sedative effects and impairment of motor skills.

Storage: Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
