Mirovan 5

Presentation: Each tablet contains 5 mg Mirogabalin (as Mirogabalin Besylate). 

Indications: Treatment of neuropathic pain, including diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain (DPNP) and postherpetic neuralgia (PHN).

Dosage & Administration: Usual starting dose for adults is 5 mg twice daily. The dose may be gradually increased by 5 mg at intervals of at least one week, up to 15 mg twice daily, based on individual response and tolerability. Follow doctor's instructions. Can be taken with or without food. Dosage adjustment may be needed for patients with renal impairment.

Side Effects: Common: Somnolence, dizziness, peripheral edema, weight gain, nasopharyngitis. Less common: Blurred vision, dry mouth, constipation, fatigue. Rare: Loss of consciousness, liver dysfunction (malaise, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, jaundice).

Precautions: May cause dizziness, somnolence, or loss of consciousness; use caution when driving or operating machinery. Exercise caution in elderly patients due to the risk of falls and fractures. Inform doctor of any kidney problems; dose adjustment may be necessary.

Storage: Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
