• Neomycin Sulphate: Offers bactericidal action against a range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms, and is particularly effective against Staphylococcus aureus, a common cause of skin infections.
• Bacitracin Zinc: Is highly active against Gram-positive bacteria and cocci, including hemolytic streptococci, thus complementing the spectrum of the other two antibiotics.

• Infants: The dose should be reduced in infants. This ointment is not recommended for use in neonates due to the possibility of increased absorption through their immature skin.
