Neugalin XR 82.5 Tablet is an extended-release formulation containing Pregabalin 82.5 mg . 
It is manufactured by The ACME Laboratories Ltd.  

Indications: Neugalin XR is indicated for the management of: 

Neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN).  

Postherpetic neuralgia (PHN).  

Dosage and Administration: The usual starting dose for adults (18 years and above) is either 82.5 mg or 165 mg once daily, taken after an evening meal.  

• For DPN: The maximum recommended dose is 330 mg once daily.  
• For PHN: The maximum recommended dose is 660 mg once daily.  

The dose may be increased within one week based on individual response and tolerability. The tablet should be swallowed whole and not split, crushed, or chewed.

Side Effects: Common side effects associated with Pregabalin may include:

• Dizziness  
• Sleepiness (somnolence)  
• Peripheral edema (swelling in arms or feet)  
• Ataxia (lack of coordination)  
• Fatigue
• Dry mouth  
• Blurred vision  
• Weight gain  
• Difficulty in paying attention  

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with kidney problems; dose adjustment may be needed.  
• Neugalin XR may cause drowsiness and dizziness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.  
• Inform your doctor if you experience any vision changes.
• Be aware of potential mood changes, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behavior.  

Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor, as withdrawal symptoms can occur.  

Avoid alcohol, as it may increase drowsiness.  

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Contraindications: Neugalin XR is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pregabalin or any other components of the product.  

Drug Interactions: Neugalin XR may interact with other central nervous system depressants, opioids, and certain antidiabetic agents. Inform your doctor about all medications you are taking.

Storage: Keep in a cool and dry place (below 30°C), protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
