Neurolin CR 82.5

Presentation: Extended-release tablets containing Pregabalin 82.5 mg.

Indications: Management of neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy and postherpetic neuralgia. May also be used as adjunctive therapy for partial-onset seizures and management of fibromyalgia and neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injury.

Dosage & Administration: Take orally once daily after an evening meal. Swallow the tablet whole; do not split, crush, or chew it. The starting dose is usually 165 mg once daily, which may be adjusted by the physician based on individual response and tolerability, up to a maximum of 660 mg once daily. Dosage adjustment may be required in patients with renal impairment. Follow physician's instructions carefully.

Side Effects: Common: dizziness, sleepiness, headache, fatigue, blurred vision, dry mouth, nausea, and weight gain.

Precautions: Inform physician of kidney problems or heart failure. Use caution with alcohol and other CNS depressants. May cause dizziness and drowsiness; caution advised while driving or operating machinery. Inform physician if pregnant or breastfeeding. Gradual withdrawal recommended.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
