Ingredients: Each tablet typically contains Calcium Carbonate BP equivalent to elemental Calcium 500 mg and Vitamin D3 BP (Cholecalciferol) 200 IU.

Indications: Indicated for the treatment and prevention of Calcium and Vitamin D deficiency. Used in conditions such as osteoporosis, osteomalacia, rickets, and tetany. Also used to ensure adequate Calcium intake in conditions like pregnancy and lactation, childhood growth, and in elderly patients. May be used as an adjunct to specific therapies for bone health.

Dosage & Administration: Adults: Usually 1 tablet twice daily, preferably with or after meals to enhance absorption, or as directed by a physician.

Side Effects: Generally well-tolerated. Possible side effects may include mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as constipation, flatulence, nausea, or stomach upset. Rarely, hypercalcaemia (high calcium levels in the blood) may occur, especially with high doses or prolonged use.

Precautions: Contraindicated in patients with hypercalcaemia, hyperparathyroidism, hypercalciuria, nephrolithiasis (kidney stones), and Vitamin D3 overdosage. Use with caution in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment, sarcoidosis, and a history of renal stones. May interact with certain medications, including thiazide diuretics, tetracycline antibiotics, quinolone antibiotics, bisphosphonates, and cardiac glycosides (e.g., digoxin). It's important to inform your doctor about all medications you are taking.
