Pase Drop, 

Pediatric Drops - (12.5mg/5ml) contains Clonazepam at a concentration of 12.5mg per 5ml. It is available in a 10ml drop bottle and is manufactured by Opsonin Pharma Limited in Bangladesh.

Indications:

Pase Drop is a benzodiazepine used to treat:

• Epilepsy (seizures), including Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (specifically the petit mal variant), akinetic seizures, and myoclonic seizures. It may also be used for absence seizures (petit mal) that have not responded to succinimides.
• Panic disorder, with or without agoraphobia.
• Anxiety disorders.
• Status epilepticus.
• Social phobia.
• Migraines.
• Parasomnia.

Dosage and Administration:

The dosage for pediatric patients (infants and children up to 10 years or 30 kg) is typically 0.01-0.03 mg/kg/day, not exceeding 0.05 mg/kg/day, given in two or three divided doses. The drops should be administered orally. Always follow your doctor's specific instructions for dosage and administration.

Side Effects:

Common side effects may include:

• Drowsiness 
• Fatigue
• Impaired coordination 
• Dizziness 
• Depression 
• Ataxia (problems with balance and coordination)  

Precautions:

Use with caution in infants and young children as it may increase saliva and bronchial secretions, requiring careful monitoring of airways. It should not be used in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines or acute narrow-angle glaucoma. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Pase Drop as it may increase drowsiness and dizziness.
