Presentation: Syrup, typically in 100 ml bottles. Manufactured by Orion Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh.

Ingredients: Each 5 ml contains Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate USP equivalent to 4.05 mg elemental Zinc.

Indications: For the treatment and prevention of zinc deficiency, important for growth, immunity, wound healing, and sensory functions. Used in conditions like growth retardation and diarrhea.

Dosage & Administration: Depends on age and weight. Children under 10 kg: 5-6 teaspoonfuls daily in divided doses. Children over 10 kg: 5-6 teaspoonfuls 1-3 times daily. Adults and children over 30 kg: 2 teaspoonfuls 1-2 times daily. Best taken 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals, but can be taken with food if stomach upset occurs.

Side Effects: May cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach upset, and heartburn.

Precautions: Contraindicated in zinc hypersensitivity. Caution in acute renal failure. May interact with tetracycline and quinolone antibiotics (separate by 2-3 hours). Food may reduce absorption.

Storage: Store below 25°C, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
