PG 25

Presentation: Capsules containing 25 mg Pregabalin.

Indications: Treatment of neuropathic pain (nerve damage pain), as adjunctive therapy for partial seizures in adults, and for the management of fibromyalgia.

Dosage & Administration: Dosage varies depending on the condition being treated.

• Neuropathic Pain: The usual starting dose is 150 mg per day, given in two or three divided doses. The dose may be increased by your doctor up to a maximum of 600 mg per day.
• Partial Seizures: The usual starting dose is 150 mg per day, given in two or three divided doses. The dose may be increased by your doctor up to a maximum of 600 mg per day.
• Fibromyalgia: The usual starting dose is 75 mg twice a day (150 mg per day). The dose may be increased by your doctor up to a maximum of 225 mg twice a day (450 mg per day).

Take orally with or without food. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Side Effects: Common side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, blurred vision, weight gain, difficulty concentrating, and peripheral edema (swelling of arms and legs). Less common side effects may include euphoria, confusion, irritability, increased appetite, and tremor.

Precautions: Inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, heart problems, or diabetes. Use caution with alcohol and other CNS depressants. Pregabalin may cause dizziness and drowsiness and can impair your ability to drive or operate machinery. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Gradual withdrawal is recommended to avoid withdrawal symptoms.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
