PG 75 is a capsule containing 75 mg of Pregabalin.

Indications:

PG (Pregabalin) is used for the management of:

• Neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy.

• Postherpetic neuralgia1 (nerve pain following shingles).

• As adjunctive therapy for the treatment of partial-onset seizures in patients 1 month of age and older.

• Fibromyalgia (widespread muscle pain and tenderness).

• Neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injury.

• Anxiety disorders.

Dosage and Administration:

The dosage is individualized and determined by the physician. The starting dose for neuropathic pain is usually 150 mg per day, divided into two or three doses. This may be increased based on response and tolerability up to a maximum of 600 mg per day. For fibromyalgia, the recommended dose is 300 to 450 mg per day. PG capsules can be taken with or without food.

Side Effects:

• Common side effects of Pregabalin can include:

• Dizziness

• Sleepiness (somnolence)

• Dry mouth

• Swelling (edema)

• Blurred vision

• Weight gain

• Difficulty with concentration/attention

Precautions:

Inform your doctor if you have kidney problems. PG may cause sleepiness and dizziness, so caution should be exercised while driving or operating machinery. Do not stop taking this medication abruptly without consulting your doctor, as it may lead to withdrawal symptoms. Be aware of potential mood changes or suicidal thoughts and report them to your doctor immediately.
