Presentation: 20 mg prednisolone tablets.

Indications: Anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive agent for endocrine, rheumatic, collagen, dermatologic, allergic, ophthalmic, respiratory, hematologic, neoplastic, edematous, gastrointestinal,and nervous system disorders.

Dosage and Administration: Individualized, ranging from 5 to 60 mg daily orally, adjusted based on condition and response. Gradual withdrawal recommended after prolonged use. Follow physician's instructions.

Side Effects: Increased appetite, weight gain, fluid retention, hypertension, mood changes, insomnia, acne, skin thinning, bruising, impaired wound healing, muscle weakness, osteoporosis, increased intraocular pressure, cataracts, hyperglycemia, increased infection risk, HPA axis suppression.

Precautions: Peptic ulcer, osteoporosis, psychiatric disorders, diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, renal insufficiency, epilepsy, tuberculosis, ocular herpes simplex, fungal infections, recent surgery/trauma. Avoid live vaccines with immunosuppressive doses. Drug interactions possible. Pregnancy/breastfeeding: consider risks/benefits.

Storage: Store below 30°C, dry place, protected from light and moisture, out of reach of children.
