Presentation: Tablets containing 5 mg prednisolone.

Indications: Anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive agent for various conditions including allergic, rheumatic, endocrine, dermatologic, respiratory, hematologic, neoplastic, gastrointestinal, and other inflammatory disorders.

Dosage and Administration: Highly individualized, ranging from 5 to 60 mg daily orally, adjusted based on condition and response. Gradual withdrawal recommended after prolonged use. Follow physician's instructions.

Side Effects: Increased appetite, weight gain, fluid retention, hypertension, mood changes, insomnia, acne, skin thinning, bruising, impaired wound healing, muscle weakness, osteoporosis, increased intraocular pressure, cataracts, hyperglycemia, increased infection risk.

Precautions: Peptic ulcer, osteoporosis, psychiatric disorders, diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, renal insufficiency, epilepsy, tuberculosis, ocular herpes simplex, fungal infections. Avoid live vaccines with immunosuppressive doses. Drug interactions possible. Pregnancy/breastfeeding: consider risks/benefits.

Storage: Store below 30°C, dry place, protected from light and moisture, out of reach of children.
