Pregaben CR 82.5

Presentation: Each controlled-release tablet contains 82.5 mg Pregabalin.

Indications: Management of neuropathic pain (nerve damage pain) in adults.

Dosage & Administration: The usual starting dose is 165 mg once daily. The dose may be increased by your doctor after 3-7 days to 330 mg once daily, based on response and tolerability. The maximum recommended dose is 330 mg once daily. Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush, chew, or break it. Take at approximately the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food.

Side Effects: Common: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, dry mouth, blurred vision, weight gain, difficulty concentrating, peripheral edema (swelling of arms and legs). Less common: Euphoric mood, confusion, irritability, increased appetite, constipation, vomiting, tremor. Rare: Allergic reactions, muscle weakness.

Precautions: Inform your doctor if you have heart, liver, or kidney problems, diabetes, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Use caution with alcohol and other CNS depressants. May cause dizziness and drowsiness. Monitor for changes in mood or behavior. Gradual withdrawal is recommended to avoid withdrawal symptoms.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
