Prelica CR 82.5 

Indications:

It is used for the management of:

• Neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN).  
• Postherpetic neuralgia (PHN).  
• Neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injury.
• Fibromyalgia.
• As adjunctive therapy for partial-onset seizures in patients 1 month of age and older.

Dosage and Administration:

• The usual starting dose is 165 mg once daily, taken after the evening meal.
• The dose may be adjusted by your physician based on your response and tolerability, up to a maximum of 660 mg once daily.
• Swallow the tablet whole; do not split, crush, or chew it.
• Dosage adjustment may be needed in patients with kidney problems.

Side Effects:

Common side effects may include:

• Dizziness
• Sleepiness
• Headache
• Fatigue
• Blurred vision
• Dry mouth
• Nausea
• Weight gain
• Swelling in the arms and legs

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, heart failure, or any other medical conditions.
• Use caution with alcohol and other central nervous system depressants as they can increase drowsiness and dizziness.
• Pregabalin may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so caution is advised when driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.  
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.  
• Do not stop taking this medication suddenly without consulting your doctor, as it may lead to withdrawal symptoms.

Storage: Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
