Presentation: Tablets, usually available in strips. Manufactured by Radiant Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in Bangladesh.

Ingredients: Each tablet contains Folic Acid BP 5 mg and Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate BP equivalent to elemental Zinc 20 mg.

Indications: Indicated for the treatment and prevention of Folic Acid and Zinc deficiencies. Zinc is essential for numerous enzyme systems, growth, development, and immune function. Folic acid is crucial for DNA synthesis and red blood cell production. It is particularly important during pregnancy to prevent neural tube defects.

Dosage & Administration: Orally, one tablet daily or as directed by a physician.

Side Effects: Generally well-tolerated at the recommended dose. Occasionally, mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, fever, and respiratory distress may occur.

Precautions: Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Folic acid is contraindicated in untreated cobalamine (Vitamin B12) deficiency. A large amount of calcium may decrease the absorption of zinc; therefore, avoid taking them together.

Storage: Store in a dry place below 25°C, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
