Presentation:Remicron MR 30 Tablet, available in Bangladesh, contains Gliclazide 30 mgin a modified-release (MR) formulation.
Indications:Remicron MR is indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitusin adults when diet, exercise, and weight reduction alone are not sufficient to achieve adequate glycemic control.
Dosage and Administration: The dosage of Remicron MR must be individualized based on the patient's blood glucose levels. The usual initial dose is 30 mg once daily.
Side Effects: The most common side effect is hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). Symptoms can include headache, dizziness, sweating, pallor, tremor, anxiety, confusion, palpitations, increased hunger, and in severe cases, loss of consciousness or seizures. Gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea may also occur, although they are less frequent with the MR formulation. Less common side effects include skin reactions (rash, itching, urticaria), and changes in blood counts (e.g., thrombocytopenia, leukopenia). In rare cases, liver function abnormalities may occur.

Storage: Store Remicron MR 30 tablets in a cool (below 30°C) and dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep this medicine out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
