Presentation: Soft gelatin capsules containing Ubidecarenone (Coenzyme Q10) 100 mg. Available in strips. Manufactured by Square Pharmaceuticals PLC in Bangladesh.

Ingredients: Ubidecarenone (Coenzyme Q10) 100 mg.

Indications: Coenzyme Q10 is a fat-soluble substance vital for cellular respiration and ATP production. ResQ 100 is indicated for the treatment and prevention of:

• Infertility: Female and male infertility.  
• Neurological Disorders:Myopathy, ataxia, genetic neuromuscular disease, migraine, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease.  
• Cardiovascular Disease:Congestive heart failure,high blood pressure, angina, cardiomyopathy, heart protection during surgery.
• Others: Periodontal gum disease, diabetes, exercise performance, asthma, thyroid disorder.

Dosage and Administration: For Co-enzyme Q10 deficiency, the usual dose is 150 mg daily. However, for specific conditions, the dosage may vary, and it is best to follow your physician's instructions. It is recommended to take the capsule with food, especially with high lipid content, for better absorption.

Side Effects: Ubidecarenone is generally safe and well-tolerated at recommended doses. Occasionally, mild gastrointestinal discomfort, dizziness, and skin rash may occur, typically with higher doses.

Precautions: Co-enzyme Q10 should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to a lack of long-term safety data. It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ubidecarenone or any excipients and in patients scheduled for surgery in the next two weeks. Caution should be taken in patients with diabetes or hypoglycemia and in patients with low blood pressure or those taking blood pressure medications. It may interact with statins, warfarin, thyroid drugs, beta-blockers, and antidiabetic medications.
