Rivacap 3

Presentation: Each capsule contains Rivastigmine Tartrate USP equivalent to Rivastigmine 3 mg.

Indications: Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe dementia in Alzheimer's disease and in patients with Idiopathic Parkinson's disease.

Dosage & Administration: Initial dose is 1.5 mg twice daily with food. May be increased every 2 weeks to 3 mg twice daily, then further if tolerated, up to a maximum of 6 mg twice daily. Follow doctor's instructions.

Side Effects: Common: nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, dizziness, headache.

Precautions: Use with caution in patients with heart problems, lung conditions, stomach ulcers, or seizures.

Storage: Store as directed on the packaging, usually in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
