Rivamer 1.5

Presentation: Each capsule contains Rivastigmine Tartrate equivalent to Rivastigmine 1.5 mg.

Indications: Rivamer is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderately severe dementia of the Alzheimer's type and mild to moderately severe dementia associated with Parkinson's disease.

Dosage and Administration: The initial recommended dose is 1.5 mg twice daily. The dose may be increased by 1.5 mg twice daily every two weeks to a maximum maintenance dose of 6 mg twice daily. Dosage adjustments should be made based on individual tolerability and response. Rivamer capsules should be swallowed whole with food.

Side Effects: Common side effects include gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain, as well as dizziness, headache, and loss of appetite. Less common side effects may include fatigue, agitation, confusion, and muscle weakness.

Precautions: Use with caution in patients with a history of peptic ulcer disease, seizures, asthma, or cardiac conduction disturbances. Dosage adjustments may be necessary in patients with renal or hepatic impairment. Inform your physician if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Storage: Store below 30°C in a dry place, protected from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
